Phyllis Kay Griffith

Phyllis Kay Griffith, 79, longtime Seminole resident died, Monday June 19, 2017 at Seminole Care and Rehab in Seminole, Oklahoma. Phyllis was born April 27, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John Clark Rogers and Carvey Lee Rogers. Phyliss was a homemaker and a member of the Jarvis Assembly of God Church, north of Seminole, Oklahoma. She loved camping, fishing and bingo. She is survived by her three sons, Clint Hanks and his wife Michelle of Konawa, Oklahoma, Scott Hanks and his wife Felicia of Sasakwa, Oklahoma and Jason Wise and his wife Jamie of Seminole, Oklahoma, two daughters Robin Brooks of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Debra Filder and her husband Troy Pack of Seminole, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charlie Wise, husband Joe Griffith, Mother Carvey Lee Rogers, Aunt Tukie Cothern, grandson Brian Michael Carpitcher, Cousin Jack ( Pug) Ryans and son-in-law Jackie Brooks. Funeral services are planned for 10:30 A.M., Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with John Stiger and Bill Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Vamossa Cemetery in Konawa, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be; Clint Hanks, Jason Wise, Jody Brooks, Josh Carpitcher, Jeffery Carpitcher and Scott Hanks. Honorary bearers will be Johnny Brooks, Trent Brooks, Hobby Carpitcher, Joseph Brooks, Ragean Wise and Troy Pack.
