Phyllis Darby

Longtime Shawnee resident, Phyllis Louise Darby, passed away, June 21, 2006 in Shawnee at the age of 78. She was born on July 4, 1927 to Amos Charles and Nora (Ozbirn) Bruner.rnrnPhyllis was affiliated with the Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed very much by family and friends. rnrnShe is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law; Nancy and David Sober of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jimmie and Jim Bowen of Chandler, Oklahoma, Robbie and Andy Frye of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Della and Quinn Sellers of Earlsboro, Oklahoma. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; Craig, Tracy, Philip, Christie, Justin, Shawn, Julie, Sheila, Jenny and Samantha and seventeen great grandchildren. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Susan R.
