Phillip Lucas

Phillip David Lucas, 64 year-old, Seminole resident passed from this life December 10, 2009 at his home in Seminole.  He was born December 28, 1944 in McAlester, Oklahoma to parents John James Lucas and Naomie (Sullivan) Lucas. Lucas was a carpenter who moved to Seminole five years ago from Arizona. Survivors include two sons, Phillip D. Lucas, Jr. and Brian Lucas both of Bakersfield, California; one daughter, Amy Lucas of Lancaster, California; three brothers, Gilbert Lucas and Fred Lucas both of Seminole, Oklahoma and Ted Lucas of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; two sisters, Wanda Boggs of Seminole, Oklahoma and Helen Davidson of Corcoran, California; four grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Lucas is preceded in death by his father, John James Lucas; mother, Naomie (Sullivan) Lucas Foreman; and by his wife Margo Lucas who died in 2000. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Rev. Bill Barnett and Rev. Lewis Johnson will officiate the service. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
