Danny Phillip Clower, 69, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away, Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Seminole Care and Rehab in Seminole. Phillip was born October 24, 1950 in Seminole, Oklahoma to R.C. Clower and Christine (Meek) Pierce.
Phillip grew up in the Bowlegs and Seminole area and graduated from Seminole High School. Phillip’s main career was working in the Seminole Oilfields most of his adult life, he worked as a derrick hand on drilling rigs and other oilfield related jobs.
Phillip loved fishing, playing golf and was a regular breakfast customer at the Bus Station Café in Seminole. He loved his church, the Lord’s Community Church as well as his pastors, Jim and Nita Moreland.
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents R.C. Clower and Christine (Meek) Pierce, brothers; Jerry Clower and Bobby Joe Clower and longtime friend; Ivona Malloy,
Phillip is survived by his son; Tony Ahaisse Clower, daughter; Tonia Clower, step-son; Franklin Gore, two brothers Johnny Pierce and Joe Pierce, three sisters; Billie Leonard, Laura Hale and Vanessa Pierce, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
There will be a public visitation on Monday, May 11, 2020 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, with cremation services following. Viewing will take place in the funeral home’s chapel with social distancing in place and limited to 10 people at one time. Jim and Nita Moreland will be sharing a message at 3:00 p.m. during the viewing.
