Peggy Joyce Johnson

Peggy Joyce Johnson, age 69, passed away November 24, 2019 at her home in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born June 28, 1950 in Sebastian County-Ft. Smith, Arkansas to parents Roy Lough Colley and Lois Needham (David) Colley. Peggy graduated from Oklahoma City Community College and Chickasha University of Arts and received a master’s degree in computers. She worked as a sales representative for AOL and was a caregiver for the mentally and physically challenged. She was a member of the Walnut Street church of Christ in Seminole and the Red Hat Society. Peggy is survived by her sons; Darian and Hollie of the home, Chris and Lestie of Edmond, Oklahoma and Tyler and Rayna of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, daughter; Alisa and Rena’ of Edmond, Oklahoma, sisters; “Kiki” Carol Fields and Phil of Mustang, Oklahoma, Kay Murray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Donia Hornick and Joe of Mustang, Oklahoma, Judy Cates and Neal of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren and five great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roderick Paul Johnson on June 26, 2017, her sisters; Barbara Hayworth and Betty Colley, brother; Roy Don “Sonny” Colley and great-grandson Trenton “Tag” Godwin. A memorial service for Peggy is scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Walnut Street church of Christ in Seminole, Oklahoma with Bobby Allen, Larry Sneed and Drake Johnson officiating.
