Peggy Ann (Hutson) Click

Peggy Ann Click, McLoud, Oklahoma resident, passed away at the age of 82 on December 14, 2020 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was born in Cache, Oklahoma on August 8, 1938 to parents Oliver Dolphus Hutson and Artie Elizabeth (Smith) Hutson. She graduated from Cache High School and was Valedictorian of her class. She attended Platt College.

Peggy married David Leroy Click on October 19, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and they had just celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.

Peggy worked at AT&T and could type 125 words a minute. She enjoyed traveling around the United States. She loved country music. She was a hardworking, loving mother. She loved their dog “Princess” as her own child.

Left to cherish Peggy’s memory are her husband David Click of the home, sons; Kenneth Click of Norman, Oklahoma and Brian Click and his wife Tammy of McLoud, Oklahoma, daughters; Sharon Sims of Seminole, Oklahoma and Janis Bodkin and her husband Brad of Maud, Oklahoma, brother; Wayne Hutson and his wife Rosa of Rocklin, California, sister; Betty Hicks of Prattville, Alabama, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, her brother Terry “Boe” Padgett and sister Ruby Skelton.

Graveside services for Peggy will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Dale Cemetery, 36404 Westech Road, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be her grandsons Dalton Click, Dakota Click, Kash Bodkin, Bryce Bodkin, Dustin Bodkin, Brandon Sims and Stockton Click.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
