Pearl Caroline (Casey) Tripp, longtime Konawa resident, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Unity North Health Center in Shawnee, at the age of 88.rnrnShe was born on November 27, 1918 in Mounds, OK to J.B. Casey & Sudie Marie (Day) Casey.rnrnShe married William Tripp on November 1, 1937 in McAlester, OK and he preceded her in death in 1986.rnrnPearl was a loving homemaker and had worked at the Aldridge Hotel in Zion, IL and also at Cleo's Cafe in Konawa. She attended the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Konawa.rnrnShe is survived by rnTwo sons, Brian Tripp of Zion, IL and Vernon Tripp of Sasakwa, OK;rnrnFour daughters, Cledda Johnson of Tampa, FL, Bernice McGhee of Atmore, AL, Georgia Lewis of Maud and Betty Jean Coleman of Oklahoma City;rnrn17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and host of other family and friends.rnrnShe was also preceded in death by her parents; five children, William Lee Tripp, Leon Dale Tripp, Rhoda Tripp, Vinus Tripp and an infant baby boy; and nine brothers and sisters. rnrnGraveside services will be held at Yeager Cemetery on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Darrell Stinnett officiating. rnServing as casket bearers will be Larry House, Wade House, Kenny House, Byron Bible, Zachary House and Russell House.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
