Dora Pauline Lofton, 93, longtime Seminole resident died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Shawnee, Oklahoma. Pauline was born September 18, 1917 in Seminole, to Jesse Thomas and Alta( Vulgamore) Sneed. Pauline was a life long Seminole, Oklahoma resident and attended Seminole Schools and graduated from Seminole High School. Pauline spent most of her adult life as a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of the Seminole Church of Christ where she was baptized on February 18, 1951. Pauline was married to Elmer Emmitt Lofton on September 4, 1937 in Seminole and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1972. Pauline is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Emmitt and Kay Lofton and Robert Andrew and Janice Lofton all of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one sister Jewel Faye Franklin of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Shelby Brown and husband Brad of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Marcie Pennington and husband Phillip of Seattle, Washington, Pamela White and husband Greg of Prague, Oklahoma, Richard Lofton and Wife Denise of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Brian Lofton and wife Sue of Frisco, Texas. Twelve Great Grandchildren, Kora, Jesse, Clayton and Isaiah White; Joel and Adam Pennington; Joshua, Ryan and Danielle Lofton, Tonya Giger and husband C.J., Lorie Hummingbird and husband Legus and Annah Wapskineh. She is also survived by six great great grandchildren; Wazhozha & Neshoba Giger, Zahayfa & Walei Hummingbird, Zaviah and Zykhius Wapskineh.   Pauline was preceded in death by her Husband Elmer Emmitt Lofton, Parents Jesse and Alta Sneed, Sister Irene Bean and brother Tommy Sneed and one brother and four sisters who died at a very young age. Funeral Services are planned for Friday, October 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Church of Christ in Seminole with Chris Stinnett officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
