Pauline Cross

Pauline Cross, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024. Born on October 4, 1933, she was a beloved member of her family and a long-time resident of Seminole, Oklahoma. Pauline lived a life filled with faith, love, and devotion, always putting others first and leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. 

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Vidia, eight siblings, and her dear husband of 67 years, Harold Cross, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and dedication. 

Pauline had a vibrant spirit and a love for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping, painting, gardening, and playing games with family. Known for her quick wit and sense of humor, Pauline was always taking care of others, ensuring that everyone was well-fed. To the very end, she made sure her family knew just how much she loved them. 

Pauline is survived by her sister, Bernice Joice, and her cherished children, daughter, Donna Shepherd and husband, Doug of Shawnee, OK, daughter Joyce Anderson and husband, Daniel of Cameron, OK, son, Robert Cross and wife, Tammy of Seminole, OK. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Jennifer Shepherd, Eric Cross and wife, Dusti, Emily Heavener, Josh Cross, Jacob Anderson and wife, Kali, Michael Shepherd and wife, Karli, Katie Jones, Natasha Stewart and husband, Kaleb, Nathan Cross and wife, Kyla, Kane McKee. Pauline is also lovingly remembered by her sister, children, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. 

Pauline’s warmth, kindness, and selfless love will be deeply missed. Her memory will be cherished by all who were blessed to know her.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Jacob Anderson, Michael Shepherd, Eric Cross, Josh Cross, Nathan Cross and Kane McKee. Honorary casket bearers will be Coltin Heavener and Kaleb Stewart. 

Viewing will be Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK with Nathan Cross and Eric Cross officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, OK. 

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
