Paula Jeaninne (Dawson) Russell, 53 year-old Seminole resident passed from this life at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Carl Albert Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma.rnrnShe lived a full and colorful life. She and her former husband and business partner traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Marco and China gathering an array of photographs for their photography business. They lived on Lombard Street, the crookedness street in the world in San Francisco. They also owned and operated an outfitting business out of Livingston, Montana.rnrnPaula studied dental hygiene at Rose State College in Oklahoma City, and art at the University of Oklahoma and University of Texas at Arlington. She had also studied voice and music in Nashville, Tennessee.rnrnShe was born in Seminole, November 22, 1955. She was preceded in death by; her grandparents, Homer and Ruby Griffith and Giles and Rita Dawson and her father, G.W. Dawson of Los Angeles, California.rnrnShe is survived by; her mother, Pat Berry of Seminole and brothers, Kent Dawson of Seminole, Chris Berry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Robert Berry of Round Rock, Texas; sisters D.D. Breslin and Tamera Robinson of Wimberly, Texas and her beloved nephew Darius Berry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.rnrnPaula had many talents. She could paint, draw, sculpture and she did Indian beading. She loved horses and seamed to be able to communicate with all animals. She was also a proud member of the Chickasaw tribe.rnrnThe family will be having a private family service.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.rn Funeral Information: December 7, 2008, 12:00 AM
