Patsy Ruth (Evans) Isaacs

Patsy Ruth (Evans) Isaacs, age 80 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 at her home. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa, Oklahoma, and Kirk Bartmas and Drew Isaacs will officiate.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Casket bearers are Beau Johnson, Bill McGee, Finney Hale, Gary Isaacs, Alan Isaacs, Justin Isaacs, Ronnie Isaacs, and Doug Isaacs.  Honorary bearers are grandsons, Ian Isaacs, Scotty Isaacs, T Isaacs, Trace Lee, and Justin Johnson. Patsy was born July 18, 1936 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Oval (Hampton) Evans and Lewis Evans.  She graduated from high school and married Vernon Isaacs September 2, 1955 in Bakersfield, California.  Patsy was the Fabric Department Manager for Wal-Mart.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and watching humming birds. She is survived by her husband, Vernon Isaacs of the home; two sons, Danny Isaacs and wife, Debbie of Konawa, Dennis Isaacs and wife, Katie of Konawa; one daughter, Sheila Herndon and Danny Woffard of Kingston; one sister, Marion Daniels of Bakersfield, California; five grandchildren, Trina Lee, Scotty Isaacs, T Isaacs and wife, Misty, Tenley Johnson and husband, Beau, and Ian Isaacs; eleven great grandchildren, Alexus Lee, Trace Lee, Makinze Johnson, Justin Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Daxton Isaacs, Addison Isaacs, Easton Isaacs, Emersen Isaacs, London Isaacs, and one on the way, River Weston Isaacs.
