Patrick Horace Harris

Patrick H. Harris, Jr, 61, loving husband and father, longtime Seminole resident and previous owner of Little Grocery and Deli in Little, Oklahoma died May 26, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Patrick was born May 12, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Patrick Horace Harris, Sr. and Retha Aldean (Phillips) Harris. Pat worked hard every day of his life. He loved his family and they never wanted for anything. He was a great Christian man and raised his family in the church. He loved his life on his farm and he loved his down time on his boat. Pat still made numerous family trips with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Patrick married Robyn Sue White on May 22, 1970 in Marietta, Oklahoma His wife Robyn Sue Harris of the home survives Patrick and their children Jennifer Merrell and her husband Jordan of Missouri City, Texas, Patrick H. Harris III and his wife Starla of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Michelle Glenn and her husband Kirby of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Patrick and Robyn had twelve grandchildren Tarynn Gray, Joshua Merrell, Jade Merrell, Aubrey Harris, Jacob Harris, James Glenn, Mercedes Glenn, Jackson Glenn, Ashlee Glenn, Josiah Glenn, Jacob “ Landon” Glenn and Jasper Glenn. His mother Retha Aldean Harris of Seminole, Oklahoma, also survives Patrick. Patrick was survived by four brothers; Michael Harris and his wife, Teri of Seminole, Oklahoma, Russell Harris of Seminole, Oklahoma, Dr., Dennis Harris and his wife Gay of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Scott Harris and his wife Melinda, of Texas, one sister Linda Russell and her husband David of Seminole, Oklahoma. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him. His father, Patrick H. Harris, Sr. and nephew Michael “Mikey” Harris Jr. preceded Patrick in death. Funeral services are planned for 1:00 P.M., Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Highway Baptist Church in Little, Oklahoma with burial following at Little Cemetery. Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate at the service. Casket bearers will be Patrick H. Harris III, Jordan Merrell, Kirby Glenn, Dennis Harris, Joshua Merrell and Steve Seay. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
