Patricia Williams

Patricia June (Taber) Williams, 82 year old Bowlegs resident, entered eternal life on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her home in Bowlegs, Oklahoma.   Patricia was born on June 16, 1931 in Bristow, Oklahoma to Homer Calvin and Babe Francis (Friend) Taber.  After graduating from Bowlegs High School, Patricia married Howard Williams on June 2, 1950 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma.  Howard and Patricia remained in Bowlegs for the next 63 years, during which time she worked for 20 years at what was Blue Bell and later became Wrangler.    Mrs. Williams leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Howard of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Jean Williams of Wewoka, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Neva and Basile Vanaria of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; one sister, Cleon Huff of Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren, Ricky Williams, Jr., Rusty Williams and his wife Starla, Shannon Cathey and his wife Edith, Shawna Martinez and her husband Alfrado, David Stafford and his wife Jerri Beth, Melissa Stafford and Adam Stafford as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.   She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Babe Taber, and two brothers, Richard Taber and Marvin Taber.   A memorial service is planned for a later date.   Condolences may be sent through www.swearingenfuneralhome.com.  Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma are handling arrangements.   Funeral Information: April 11, 2014, 9:00 AM Swearingen Funeral Home located at 1001 N.
