Patricia Ann Smith

Seminole resident, Patricia Ann (Collins) Smith, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at her home, at the age of 82. 

Patricia, the daughter of Joseph and Ina Pearl (Hood) Collins, was born March 30, 1942, in Blue Mountain, Arkansas. She graduated from Fairfax High School, in Fairfax, Oklahoma, with the class of 1960. On August 11, 1961, Patricia married Ronald Lee Smith, in Shidler, Oklahoma. Ronald passed away on February 15, 1997. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, working on crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patricia was a member of the Little Church of Christ for over 40 years. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandma, and great grandma. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Smith; her parents, Ina and Joe Collins; and a cousin, Judy Hammond. 

Patricia is survived by her son, Ronald Lee Smith, Jr., of Seminole; daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Prakash Paul, of Rowlett, Texas; three grandchildren, Chelsea Rushing, Jolee Miller, and Hannah Potter; seven great grandchildren, Rhett, Molli, Brooks, Gibson, Layla, Myla, and Ruger; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jan Shipman, of Rockford, Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and J.L. Trent, of Lebanon, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Tammy Potter, of Seminole; along with many other family members and friends. 

Services will be Monday, August 19, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., at the Little Church of Christ, with Rusty Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
