Longtime Seminole County area resident Pam Hopkins passed away on August 24, 2010 in Maud, Oklahoma at the age of 56. She was born on July 3, 1954 in Ft. Lewis, Washington to Ray and Maria Lulu (Horner) Lee. She served as an officer for the Seminole Police Department and was the Chief of Police for the Maud Police Department for many years. She was a member of the FOP. She married Daryl Hopkins on May 7, 1993 in Arkansas and he preceded her in death in July of 2005. She leaves to cherish her memories her son Billy “Brac” Boren of Prior Lake, Minnesota and wife Melisa, daughter, Tisha Brandt of Bixby, Oklahoma and husband Ryan, father, Ray Lee of Maud, Oklahoma, sister, Janet Kay of Porum, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Cody Jakob Boren and Carsten Leandra Boren. She is preceded in death by her mother Marie L. Lee in 1990, sister, Thrisa “Terry” Marie Davenport in 2000, and one grandson Richard James Boren in 1995. The family will have a come and go memorial reception on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Knight - Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud from 9:00 A.M. to Noon. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made the Fraternal Order of Police Foundation, 701 Marriott Drive, Nashville TN 37214.
