Otis Clifton Brock, age 102 passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Washita Valley Living Center in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma just two days after his wife passed away Wednesday, October 3rd. A graveside service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at McGee Cemetery near Stratford, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate, and casket bearers are Duane Brock, Tony Brock, Roy Brock, Bryan Thomas, Ethan Brock, and Mark Payne. Otis was born in Asher, Oklahoma to Robert Monroe Brock and Georgia Alice (Bagwell) Brock. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and he married Loretta Kimbrough in 1941. After she passed away, he later married Ozie Lee (Brashier) Payne September 9, 2009, in Ada, Oklahoma. He was a Leadman for Dolese Rock Quarry at the Konawa Plant. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and he loved family gatherings. He cut wood for the public and mowed yards until he was 82 years old. He loved meeting people, and he loved to play Santa Claus for children until he was 95 years old when his eye-sight began to fail. He is survived by one son, Carrol Brock and wife, Linda of Stratford; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Georgia Brock; his first wife, Loretta (Kimbrough) Brock; second wife, Ozie Lee (Brashier) Payne Brock; one grandson, Kyle Brock; three brothers, Babe Brock, Homer Giles, and Arie Giles; and one sister, Vastie Brock.
