Orville N. Azlin,84, Shawnee, Oklahoma resident, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Orville was born September 6, 1932 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Orville Clarence Azlin and Florence Elizabeth (Davis) Azlin. Orville was a police officer and was in law enforcement for many years serving as a deputy Sherriff in Seminole County, Lincoln County, and around Perry, Oklahoma and McLoud, Oklahoma. He is survived by two sons, Roy Leggett and his wife Sandy of Atchison, Kansas and Robert Dean Azlin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one daughter Beverly Seeley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three sisters; Katheryn Barnes and her husband William of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ann Fessler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Wanda Pauline Azlin of Seminole, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Chris Leggett, CJ Seeley, Orry Leggett, McCowan Leggett and Emmy Leggett, Frank Leggett and his wife Sara of Carthage, Mississippi great grandchildren Maggie, Tyler and Robert, his special niece, Rhonda Byerly and his ex-wife Connie Knoepfli of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, two children Bobby Jean Azlin and Deborah Diane Azlin, a brother Eugene Azlin, Brother-in-law Joe Fessler and G.C. Byerly. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Bill Chesser officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Orry Leggett, Roy Leggett, Ed Brown, William Chesser, Steve Byerly and Britches Ryrison.
