Orlena "Lena" Ann (Lord) Beller

Orlena Ann “Lena” Beller, 88 year old longtime Wolf area resident, passed from this life Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.  She was born March 8, 1932 in Alluwe, Oklahoma to parents Blanche Ann (Capps) Lord and Fred Taylor Lord.

Lena married Gene Beller on February 18, 1949 in Stinnett, Texas.

Lena was a homemaker and seamstress who loved her family with everything she had even giving her husband the choice to battle or to enjoy his family.

Lena was always the voice of reason.  She also enjoyed making jelly and going to garage sales.

Can you imagine a house full of kids where Lena would start the music while trying to teach them to dance? Helping them look for four leaf clovers and would always take time to lay a quilt out in the yard where they would all lay looking at the clouds and teaching them to use their imagination.  Lena was the one who truly held the family together.

Lena leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 71 years, Gene Beller of the home; three sons, Gary Dean Beller and his wife Jane of Harrah, Oklahoma, Ricky Beller of Wanette, Oklahoma, Michael Beller and his wife Sandy of Ada, Oklahoma; one daughter, Barbara (Beller) Davis and her husband Richard of Wolf, Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Lena is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Blanche Lord, three sisters Ina, Betty and Alta, three brothers Ray, Bob and Albert, by two daughters Diana and Connie and by two grandchildren Russel Lee and Raymond.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Hugh Dean Megee officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Wolf Cemetery in Wolf, Oklahoma.
