Orlan Lee Campbell, 77, Seminole resident died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Orlan was born April 12, 1935 in Colorado City, Texas to Oscar and Mamie (Dawson) Campbell. He was preceded in death byhis parents, his wife Esther (Briggs) Campbell and his sister Bertha L. Campbell. Orlan worked for Coors Brewing Company in Golden, Colorado for 35 years as a truck driver, after retirement he moved to Seminole in 2002. Orlan graduated from D. W. Wallace High School. After graduation he joined the U. S. Navy on July 6, 1955. Orlan was a member of the First Assembly of God in Seminole, Oklahoma and attended the Heritage House in Seminole. Orlan leaves to cherish his memories; three sons, Orlan Campbell, Jr., Darrell Campbell and Christopher Campbell all of Aurora, Colorado; his sisters Tina C. Wallace and Maxine C. Alexander, Linda Faye C. Anderson all of Dallas, Texas and brothers Willie E. Campbell, John Campbell and Kerry Campbell all of Dallas, Texas; two nieces, four nephews, six great nieces, seven great nephews a sister-in-law and brother-in-law and a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. Doyle O. Long will officiate at the service. Burial will be 1:15 P.M., Friday November 30, 2012 at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, in Dallas, Texas.
