Ophelia Geraldine "Jeri" (Lehman) Grove

Ophelia Geraldine "Jeri" Grove , age 88 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away July 22, 2022 in Abilene, Texas.

A Rosary is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2022 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, and Fr. Joseph Duggempudi will officiate.  Holy Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Konawa, and burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Pallbearers are John Paul Guadarrama, C. J. Guadarrama, Terry Matschek, and Robert Lehman.

Jeri was born August 8, 1933 in Konawa to William Albert Lehman and Agnes (McCraw) Lehman.  She married Joseph Grove at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on May 15, 1993.  She enjoyed playing bingo, watching old western movies and listening to country music.  While living in Konawa, she was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She belonged to the Altar Society and served as both a Eucharistic Minister and Lector.  Following the death of her parents and husband, she relocated to Abilene, Texas to be near her family.

She is survived by one sister, Ann Hopkins; nieces, Mary Hopkins and Kelly Matschek; five great nephews; one great niece (all of Texas); and several cousins in Oklahoma.
