Opal Jean (Williams) Brazell, age 66, a resident of Meeker, Oklahoma and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 29, 2015 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital South in Oklahoma City. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Mammoth Baptist Church located on Hwy 177 in Meeker. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Opal was born on August 21, 1948 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to James Lewis Williams and Dorthy (Samples) Williams. She married Monty Brazell on April 21, 1991 in Miami, Oklahoma. She worked as a grocery store clerk and loved to spend time with her family and friends and to go fishing. She is survived by her husband, Monty Brazell of the home; two sons, Anthony Cooper of Miami, Oklahoma, and Timothy Bunch of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Annette Botero of Yukon, Oklahoma and Misty Bullard of Grove, Oklahoma; one brother, Tommy Williams of Meeker, Oklahoma; three sisters, Shirley Jones of Meeker, Oklahoma, Dorthy Wade of Meeker, Oklahoma, and Inetha Watters of Konawa, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorthy Williams, and one brother, Raymond Lewis Williams.
