Olive Atchison

Olive Atchison, 96 year-old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Seminole.  She was born October 27, 1913 in Green City, Missouri to parents John Allen Seaman and Bertha Anzo (Martin) Seaman. Olive married Cecil Atchison and he preceded her in death in December of 1976.  Olive was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Baptist faith. Survivors include a host of nieces, including local nieces, Glenna Shull and Karen Sellers both of Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Other survivors include nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; great-great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Olive is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Helen Hook; two brothers, Charles Seaman and Paul Seaman; one nephew, Jack Hook. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 at Little Cemetery north of Seminole.  Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.
