Olen Walter McCullar, 84, Seminole resident died, Thursday, April 24, 2014 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Olen was born April 12, 1930 in Melette, Oklahoma near Hanna, Oklahoma to Winnie (Hardin) and Walter Dee McCullar.   Olen moved to Seminole 12 years ago. He was a Barber for over 50 years. Olen served his country in the U.S. Army and Air Force during the Korean War. Olen loved music and could play eleven different instruments; he loved yard work and gardening. Olen was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church of God in Seminole.   Olen is survived by his loving wife Karen ( Crouse) Smith McCullar of Seminole, Oklahoma, his daughter Deborah Fixico of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Step-daughter LaDonna McAlvain of Seminole, Step-son, Brandon Smith of Seminole, and a brother Arlin Ray McCullar of Selma, California and five grandchildren and  two step grandchildren and three great grandchildren   Olen was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Dee and Winnie McCullar; four brothers, Earl, Ulyss, George and Carl; two sisters, Dora and Eunice; one son, Steven and one daughter, Robin.   Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Benson officiating and Rev. Brandon Smith assisting. Burial will follow with military honors at Oak Grove Cemetery near St. Louis, Oklahoma.   Funeral Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.   Funeral Information: April 28, 2014, 2:00 PM Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel - Seminole located at 1001 N.
