Norman Eugene Ranells

Norman Eugene Ranells, age 58 and a former resident of Seminole County in Oklahoma, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at his home in Sulphur, Oklahoma. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Grace Community Church in Vamoosa, Oklahoma.  Rev. Drew Isaacs will officiate, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Norman was born April 27, 1960 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Norman Ranells and Daisy (Sanderson) Ranells.  He was a Senior Drilling Superintendent for Bays Exploration in Oklahoma City.  He loved racing and working on cars, and Norman loved to spend time with his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by one son, Billy Ranells of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one step-son, Douglas Aaron Isaacs and wife, Carrie of Konawa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Sarah Ranells of Chickasha; one step-daughter, Jessi K. Isaacs and fiance’ Abraham Davis, III of Konawa; one brother, Marty Morgan of Konawa; one sister, Debbie Fuget and husband Shawn of Ft. Madison, Iowa; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Daisy Ranells and one sister, Connie Graham.
