Norma Jean Nagelhout, Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Norma Jean was born March 5, 1932, in Childress, Texas to John Moates and Stella (Woodard) Moates. Norma Jean moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 1998. After high school, she attended Nursing School and was a registered nurse for forty years. As a nurse, she worked at the hospital in Guymon, Oklahoma for many years and also was the plant nurse for Swift and Company in Guymon for several years. After moving to Seminole, she became a volunteer at Seminole Municipal hospital for five years. Norma Jean is preceded in death by her first husband, Don Ballou in 1998 and her son, Larry Ballou. Norma Jean is survived by her husband Junior Nagelhout, her son Gary Ballou and his wife June of Seminole, Oklahoma, daughter-in-law Nancy Ballou, son Brad Nagelhout and his wife Joanna, chosen children Roberta La Framboise and her husband Tom, Pamela Morgan and her husband Daniel, Gerald Nagelhout and his wife Susan, 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside services will be held in Guymon, Oklahoma at the Elmhurst Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 9, 2018.
