Norma Jean (Shaw) Mosley

Norma Jean (Shaw) Mosley, age 87 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Rose Manor Nursing Home in Shawnee, Oklahoma. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Assembly of God Church of Konawa located at 205 W. 3rd in Konawa.  Pastor Steve Lowrance will officiate, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.  Casket bearers are Mark Mosley, Drew Mosley, Kendall Satterwhite, Mark Shaw, Shawn Spencer, and John Gordon. Norma was born June 10, 1929 in Ada, Oklahoma to Rufus Taylor Shaw and Julia (Slaughter) Shaw.  She graduated from Konawa High School and married Lloyd Mosley February 18, 1950 in Konawa.  Norma was a member of the Assembly of God Church, and she enjoyed cooking and keeping things clean.   She is survived by one son, Robby Mosley and wife, Sandy of Asher, Oklahoma; half-brother, Rockne Waite of Minnesota, three grandchildren, Aaron Pybas, Ryan Pybas, and John David Gordon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Julia Shaw; husband, Lloyd Mosley; and six brothers, Buster, Jim, Ellis, Sandford, Floyd, and Bill Shaw.
