Nora Lee Grandstaff, 69, life longtime Seminole resident died Thursday, August 8, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Nora was born December 28, 1943 in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Truman and Lenora (Dotson) Ring. Nora was an assistant manager at Homeland Grocery for 22 years and started when it was Safeway in 1974 and retired in 1996. She later was an administrative assistant at the First Assembly of God where she was a longtime member. Nora married Kagle George Grandstaff on January 20, 1962 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Nora is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kagle Grandstaff of Seminole, Oklahoma, three sons Johnny Grandstaff of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Nathan and Steve Grandstaff both of Seminole, Oklahoma, three sisters, Phyllis Bennett and Carole Blair of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Pat Smith of Bowlegs, Oklahoma , seven grandchildren, Josh Grandstaff, Tyler Grandstaff, Kaylee Grandstaff, Lillie Harris, Dayna Grandstaff, Jesse Grandstaff and Kati Grandstaff and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services are planned for 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 12, 2013, at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Doyle O. Long officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Casket Bearers will Joe Heffley, Richard Oartley, Jesse Grandstaff, Dowdy Grandstaff, and Travis Grandstaff. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
