Nora Laverne (Bussey) Brenner, age 71 and a former resident of Maud, Oklahoma died at her home in Midland, Texas on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Cummings Cemetery in Maud under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud. Frank Brewer will officiate. Visitation is 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21 at Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud. Nora was born on February 13, 1940 in Maud, Oklahoma to William Franklin Bussey and Anna Lucille (Works) Bussey. She married Eddie Brenner, and was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Vance Everett Kain of Midland, Texas; three daughters, Lavada Millsap of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Eva Mayden of Midland, Texas, and Linda Adams also of Midland, Texas; two brothers, Mike Bussey of Maud, Oklahoma, and David Bussey of Seminole, Oklahoma; two sisters, Erma Taff of Maud and Sandi King of Ada, Oklahoma: several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Bussey, and two brothers, Jim and Gene Bussey.
