Nola Judith (Franklin) Williams, 83 year-old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born June 5, 1927 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents Anna Estelle (Stout) Franklin and Cecil Franklin. Nola married Selah R. Williams in October of 1972 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She worked at Pioneer Nursing Home for several years as a C.M.A. (Certified Medical Aid) until her retirement. Survivors include her husband, Selah R. Williams of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Ann Blankenship of Benton, Virginia; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jalena Goodson of Seminole, Oklahoma, Valerie and Heaston Gentry of Bonham, Texas and Rita Williams of Wewoka, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, including Pamela Halbutta, Jesse Roberts, Stevy Carr, Wendy Blankenship, Jamie Blankenship and Sarah Blankenship who all live locally; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends. Nola was preceded in death by her parents and by one daughter, Jewell Juarez. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
