Neva P. Cooper was born on October 19, 1924 in Byers, Kansas to Luther and Hattie (Dougherty) Stotts. She passed from this life on August 10, 2007 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 22 days.rnrnNeva had lived in the Bixby community for the past five years and was formerly a longtime resident of Seminole. She was retired from Seminole County Health Department after working many years as the County Nurse. She had been a member of the Seminole First United Methodist Church since 1949 where she was active in the United Methodist Women and had served on the church building committee as well as several other positions within the church. She also served in volunteer positions with the Seminole Children's Museum and the Seminole Hospital Board. While she lived in Bixby, she attended the Bixby First United Methodist Church. She loved playing bridge and was involved with a bridge club until her health would not allow her to continue.rnrnShe married E. Keith Cooper on September 7, 1949 at the Friends Church in Byers, Kansas and after almost 35 years together, he preceded her in death on August 9, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her 6 siblings; Luther Stotts, Sylvia Stotts, Chester Stotts, Elva Stotts Franks, Juanita Stotts Hemphill and Ivan Stotts.rnrnShe is survived by four children; Nevin Cooper and his wife Rhonda of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kent Cooper and his wife Edy, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Cathy Cooper Cott and her husband Dan, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Carol Cooper Nutter and her husband Greg, of Katy, Texas.rnrnSeven grandchildren; Allison Cooper Wright and her husband Jason, Nevin Blaine Cooper, Jason Scott and Jenilyn Spates, Mallory Scott, Meredith Cott, Samantha Nutter and Keith Nutter.rnrnTwo great grandchildren, Jake Wright and Caden Wright as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.rnrnCasket bearers are Roger Stotts, Eugene Stotts, Marlene Stotts, N. Blaine Cooper, Jason P. Scott, Travis Condray, Spencer Condray, Keith Nutter and Jason Wright.rnrnMusic will be provided by Sandy Peters and Sherry McKee.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. David Karges, Rev.
