Nellie Grace (Campbell) Young, age 81 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Rev. Doyle O. Long and Rev. Jeff Nance will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. Pallbearers are Chris Campbell, Frank Campbell, Patrick Campbell, Donald Conner, Brandon Presley, and David Jackson. Grace was born March 29, 1934 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to George David "Dave" Campbell and Ethel (Johnson) Campbell. She grew up in Wewoka and moved to Seminole where she married John Young on June 8, 1959. Grace loved to read, cook, sew, and be with her family. She loved working in the church as a greeter. She is survived by three sons, Tracy Young and wife, Mary, Terry Young and wife, Nancy, and Curtis Young and wife Audra - all of Seminole; one daughter, Nancy L. Ladd and husband, Jim of Seminole; two brothers, Alvis Campbell and wife, Jana of Seminole, and Jerry Campbell and wife, Janice of Norman, Oklahoma; one sister, Freda Brice and husband, Troy of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jonathan Young, Lacy Young, Brittany and Wes Gwin, and Ashley Young; one great granddaughter, Cloey Gwin; and five special neighbor children who visited her regularly, Isabel, Braden, and Kayden Presley, and Alana and Shira Gibson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Dave Campbell; husband, John Young; seven brothers, Alfred, Robert, Lee, Frank, Rufus, Raleigh, and Eugene Campbell; two sisters, Kathryn Jackson, and Barbara Isham.
