Nellie Mize

Nellie Marie Mize, 83, Tecumseh area resident, died March 17, 2011, at Unity Health Center North in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Mrs. Mize was born April 10, 1927, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Raymond and Stella (Hartley) Sadler. Nellie was a homemaker and had lived in the Tecumseh area most of her life. One son Jimmy Mize and his wife Brenda of Earlsboro, Oklahoma and a daughter Rita Backstrom and her husband William of Oviedo, Florida, survive her. A brother Don Sadler of Seminole, Oklahoma and a sister, Darlene Wendt of St. Petersburg, Florida also survive her. Four grandchildren; Travis Mize, Tiffany Backstrom, Karen Richards and Bryan Steward all survive her, along with two great grandchildren, Trevor Mize and Kyndall Richards. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Sadler, her parents and a brother, Jimmy Ray Sadler. No memorial services are planned at this time.
