Nelda Elizabeth Lacquement

Nelda Elizabeth Lacquement, age 82, passed away February 11, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born December 6, 1937 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents W.C. Reed and Willie C. (Gates) Reed. She was a high school graduate and spent most of her life in Seminole before moving to Midwest City, Oklahoma. She worked for over 20 years as a warehouse clerk at Tinker Air Force Base. She didn’t like to cook but enjoyed collecting cookbooks, watching television, eating sweets, working puzzles and spending time with her granddaughter and great grandchildren. Nelda is survived by her daughter; Dana Pickett and her husband Gerald of Seminole, Oklahoma, granddaughter; Taryn Harder and her husband Justin and grandchildren; Aspyn and Korbyn Harder. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 25 years; John Lacquement, her brother Cecil Reed and sisters; Zelpha Fair, Jewell Kirk and Billie Pippin. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma with Carl Whitfield officiating.
