Nelda Ann (Redden) Campbell

Nelda Ann (Redden) Campbell , age 73 and a resident of Stonewall, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Ballard Nursing Center in Ada, Oklahoma.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.  Per family request, masks are required at the service.

Nelda was born December 3, 1946 in Franklin, Texas to John Benjamin Harrison Redden and Margie Dale (Rivers) Redden.  She worked as a seamstress and also as an associate for Wal-mart, and she attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  Nelda married Gary Lee Campbell.  She loved to crochet and made many beautiful items for her loved ones.  Nelda was also a talented flutist.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Campbell of the home; one son, Johnny Campbell of Lexington, Oklahoma; one daughter, Tammy Wheeler and husband, William of Stonewall, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Michelle Sifford of New Brunsfels, Texas; three brothers, John Redden, Jerry Redden and wife, Cheryl, and Jimmy Redden and wife, Vickie; two sisters, Rebecca Dale Hall and husband, Wendall, and Linda Davenport and husband, Billy; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Oretta Campbell, and her parents, John and Margie Redden.
