Nekita Gayshaw Westbrook was born on July 2, 1960 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Eddie Ray Ramson and Mary Louise (Bruner) Hardiman. rnrnShe passed from this life at the age of 48, on February 13, 2009. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. rnrnShe went to Seminole Public Schools and graduated in 1978. She worked at the Heritage House and the Methodist Daycare, she also volunteered with many people young and old. She had a love for children. She had a wonderful mind and a kind heart that inspired anyone she came in contact with. She enjoyed music, dancing, traveling, shopping, fingernail polish, gospel music and anything to do with her family. rnrnShe leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mary L. Hardiman, four sisters: Sheila Bruner, Michelle Hooks, Kim Bruner, Kelia R. Hardiman all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and three brothers: Gerald Burner and Tony Bruner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and William Shaw of Wewoka, Oklahoma, three aunts, Doris Hubbard and Eva Cooper of Seminole and JoAnn (Robert) Harris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two uncles, J.C. Simpson, Jr. and James C. Simpson of Seminole. rnrnHe is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Westbrook and brother, Ricky Westbrook. rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Sowatsky Cemetery, Seminole, Oklahoma. rnrnPallbearers will be: Lafiamma Bruner, Gerald Bruner, Cardell Bruner, Gary Bruner, Joel Simpson, and D?Andro Simpson.
