Nathan Alexander Good, 20, lifelong Seminole resident died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Nathan was born May 22, 1991 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Glenn and Laura (Coates) Good. Nathan went to Strother Schools through the 9th grade, then transfered to Seminole High School where he graduated. He was planning to attend East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma for the up-coming summer semester. Nathan attended the automotive program at Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech in Shawnee, Oklahoma and was named “Student of the Year” for 2010 in the automotive class. Nathan was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He grew up working in the Coates Family Businesses in Seminole and was known to his family as a fun loving, happy, kind, compassionate, loving person. He had a special gift to understand when someone was upset or hurting and knew just what they needed to make them feel better. His parents Glenn and Laura Good of Seminole, Oklahoma, survive Nathan. His grandmother Cuba Coates of Seminole, Oklahoma, grandmother Naomi Good of Wichita, Kansas, grandfather Arden Good and his wife Maxine of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two brothers Matthew Evan Good and his wife Amberly of Moore, Oklahoma and Jeffrey Speers and his wife Kristina of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, a sister Stella Stevenson of Dallas, Texas, his beloved dog “ Muzzy” and a large and loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive him. A brother, Geoffrey Stuart Good and his grandfather Harry Coates, Sr. preceded him in death. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel from 6 to 8 P.M. There will be a private graveside service for the family at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Little Cemetery. A Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m.(noon) on Saturday will be held at the Barnard Memorial United Methodist Church at 300 E. 8th St.(Corner of 8th and Gulf Streets) in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
