Naoma Louise (Lee) “Grandma” Houck-Robinson, 95 year old long time Seminole, Oklahoma resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 19, 1923 in McClain County, Oklahoma to parents George Washington Lee and Mary Magdalene (Williams) Lee. On June 2, 1941 Naoma married William Henry “Bill” Houck in Seminole, Oklahoma. He passed away January 23, 1969. Later on August 1, 1974 she married Ernest Franklin “Ernie” Robinson. Naoma owned a laundry and later worked at “Big Yank” for a short time. She loved her Lord, Church and family. Naoma was known for having a large vegetable garden, sewing, crocheting and embroidering. She also loved poodles. Naoma served the Lord in ways from being the church secretary, song leader, Sunday school teacher and a longtime member of the Temple of Praise Church in Seminole. Naoma leaves to cherish her memory 2 sons, Lenard B. “Babe” Houck and his wife Ethelene of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Toby T. Houck and his wife Johnna of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Oma “Lisa” Owens and her husband David of Seminole, Oklahoma; 3 daughter's-in-law, Linda Kay Houck of Seminole, Oklahoma, Carole Houck of Seminole, Oklahoma and Sharla Hughes of Holdenville, Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren, Janet Farrow and her husband Tommy of Seminole, Oklahoma, Garry Don Houck of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Joey Houck and his wife Kelly of Newalla, Oklahoma, Sandy Kern and her husband Todd of Seminole, Oklahoma, Becky White and her husband Darren of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jerry Houck and his wife Michelle of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Billy Houck and his wife Melissa of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Naoma Nance and her husband Jeff of Seminole, Oklahoma, Teresa Sloan and her husband Scot of Seminole, Oklahoma, Laurie Stone and her husband Denny of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Traci Bowen and her husband Scotty of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Steven Houck and his wife Candy of Alaska, Rachel Mobbs of Seminole, Oklahoma, Thomas Owens of Florida, Matthew Owens and his wife Becky of Seminole, Oklahoma, Emily Owens of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jill Houck of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dali Owens of Seminole, Oklahoma and Allyson Houck of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 36 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family, dear friends and her church family. Naoma was preceded in death by her parents George and "Maggie" Lee, by her first husband, Bill Houck, by her second husband, Ernie Robinson, by 4 sons William Henry “Buddy” Houck, Joseph Larry Houck, Lucky Lynn Houck and George Garry Houck. She was also preceded in death by 1 daughter, Lawanda Louise “Onnie” Shaffer and by one grandson, Tony Allen Houck. The family will receive friends Monday, March 18, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Temple of Praise Church located at 1100 University Ave. in Seminole with Rev. Billy Houck and Pastor Jeff Nance officiating the service. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be: Garry Houck, Tommy Farrow, Joey Houck, Thomas Owens, Matthew Owens and Darren White. Honorary Bearers will be: Bob Brinsfield, Gene Houck, Joe Houck, Laverne Houck, Marion Palmore, Tommy Brinsfield, James Brinsfield, Kenneth Mulkey and Jack Castle.
