Nancy Margaret Ladd

Seminole resident Nancy Margaret Ladd passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in Seminole.

Nancy, the daughter of Clyde and Doris (Burke) Ashworth, was born July 19, 1940, in Pasadena, CA.  On February 1, 1958, she married Russell Ladd.  Nancy worked for several years as a shipping clerk for an axle company; she was an inside sales consultant with a trailer company.  Nancy lived in Southern California until 1985, when the Ladd family moved to Seminole, Oklahoma.  Nancy enjoyed reading, knitting, doing needle point, and making candy and cookies, but nothing made her has happy as spending time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her ex husband, Russell Ladd; a daughter, Shelley White; and two brothers, Robert Ashworth and Richard Ashworth.

Nancy is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis Ladd, George Ladd, and James and Nancy Ladd, all of Seminole; 3 grandchildren, Jeremy Ladd, Jaidyn Ladd, and George Ladd Jr.; 2 great grandchildren, Marley Ladd and Shelley Ladd; along with several other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
