Nancy Cotton Coody

Nancy L. (Williams) Cotton Coody, 66-year-old longtime Seminole County resident passed from this life Friday, June 6, 2008 at Unity North Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born August 27, 1941 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents O.A. ?Fats? Williams and Willie Faye (Pearce) Williams.rnrnNancy worked as an L.P.N. at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. She is also former Sulphur, Oklahoma resident.rnrnNancy married Joe T. Cotton and he preceded her in death in 1978. She later married Robert C. Coody and he preceded her in death in 2003. Her parents, and one brother W.G. Williams who died in 2000 also precede her in death.rnrnOne son Randall ?Randy? Cotton of Seminole, Oklahoma, survives her. Two daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi Cotton-Jay and her husband Clifton Jay of Wolf, Oklahoma and Stephanie (Cotton) and her husband Danny Sandlin of Ada, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo sisters and brothers-in-law also survive, Loretta and John Choate of Seminole, Oklahoma and Carol and John Tahsuda of Alberta, Canada. Six grandchildren, J.R. Cotton, Russell "Rusty" Cotton, Jacob Brauning, Jedidiah Brauning, Angel Brauning and Joe T. Sandlin also survive, as do five great grandchildren, Lily Cotton, Breanna Cotton, Breanna Brauning, Colten Brauning and Brooklyn Jay. Nancy is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnA memorial services is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 11. 2008 at the Amazing Grace Pentecostal Holiness Church located at the corner of Walnut and Milt Phillips in Seminole, Oklahoma.
