Nadine (Shaubell) Ewert passed from this life Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Nadine was born to Claude Marion Shaubell and wife, Edna (Covington) Shaubell on October 9, 1920 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She attended school in Konawa and graduated Wynnwood High. She attended East Central in Ada, Oklahoma. She met the love of her life, Clalude Ewert and they were married in Davis, Oklahoma May 26, 1941. He preceded her in death March 2, 1988. During their marriage they raised two children in Texas and Oklahoma. Nadine, was an accomplished violinist and pianist. She loved people, reading, being fashionable with shopping being at the top of her list, for fun things to do (shoes were a true passion). She possessed a delightful sense of humor and her quick wit will long be remembered, right up there with shopping with her ”boys” . Her grandchildren were a joy an she sat through many a tennis match or baseball game in the Oklahoma heat well into her 80’s. She lived her commitment to her family, her friends, and her faith with passion, humor, and integrity. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, and two brothers, Jack and Lewis Shaubell. She leaves to cherish her memory son and daughter-in-law Jon and Julia Ewert, daughter, Elaine Ewert and her two grandsons, Joshua and Jordan Ewert, also four nephews and three nieces. Donations may be made to “The Bridge” at the First Baptist Church of Seminole or the charity of your choice. Viewing will be held Friday, December 24, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Sunday, December 26 beginning at 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Greenhill Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma at a later date.
