N. Sue Johnson, 75, longtime Seminole resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 30, 2010 at her home in Seminole. Mrs. Johnson was born April 25, 1935, in Olustee, Oklahoma near Altus, to Travis Burliston and Rosa Mae (Lucas) Collums. Mrs. Johnson was married to Ray Evans (Buzzy) Johnson on May 1, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Sue passed away just one day before their wedding anniversary, they were married for 54 years, now they are spending their anniversaries together forever. Before his death on September 22, 2008, they enjoyed fishing together, going to the casino and playing canasta every morning. Sue was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed crocheting, making floral and memorial arrangements, cooking, working in her flower garden and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, which were the love of her life. Sue was a member of the Bowlegs Baptist Church and was a Homemaker. Two Daughers and son-in-laws, Becky and Roger Palmer of Seminole, Oklahoma and Brenda and Willis Deatherage of McAlester, Oklahoma, survive her. She is survived by one brother Leroy Collums of Eufaula, Oklahoma and one Sister Janet Reed of Wylie, Texas. Sue is also survived by six grandchildren: Nathan Palmer and Rachel Palmer of Seminole, Bryan Deatherage of Red Oak, Oklahoma, Jeffery Deatherage of McAlester, Oklahoma, Kenneth Deatherage of Ada, Oklahoma and Elizabeth Hayhurst of Saginaw, Texas., and eight great-grandchildren including the newest addition to the family Natalie Rae Palmer. Sue was preceded in death by her Husband, Ray Evans (Buzzy) Johnson, Her parents, Three brothers, Clinton, Jimmy and Clayton Collums and a sister La Della Hackler. Services are planned for Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Little Chapel at Little Cemetery. Bill Chesser will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
