Wewoka resident, Morgan Grace Perez, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, in Holdenville, at the age of 23 years.
Morgan, the daughter of Natalie Grace Chewey-Baker and Reubin Perez, was born November 1, 2001, in Ada. She grew up in Wewoka and attended Claremore Public Schools. Morgan loved her bead necklaces, enjoyed listening to music, being in the water, eating her snacks, watching SpongeBob Squarepants and her goldfish.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Chuck and Darlene Henneha, and David Postoak; and her grandmother, Shirley Perez.
Morgan is survived by her mother, Natalie Chewey-Baker and her husband Joel Baker; her siblings, Makila Grace Chewey, Malaiah Grace Baker, and Jayci Adan Baker, all of the home; grandparents, Traci and Jeremy Postoak, Grandpa Russell Chewey and Jeff and Kim Baker; great grandparent, Brenda King, numerous cousins, including Malachi Michael McLaughlin; aunts and uncles, Aaron Chewey, Michelle McLaughlin and David, and Lloyd Mikey Beaudin Jr; along with many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with interment to follow at the Postoak Family Cemetery in Sasakwa.
Casket bearers will be Sterling James Robbins, Aaron Chewey, Mikey Beaudion, Jesse Caruso, Ben Buckley and Titus Buckley.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
