Mollie Iola Northern passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 84. She was born on November 15, 1924 in Goul, Oklahoma to James B. Parsons and Lula Faye Boggs. She married Ray Northern in Mesa, Arizona on December 28, 1941. She and Ray moved to Seminole 13 years ago from Arizona and were member of the Bowlegs Assembly of God . Mollie leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ray Northern of the home, three sons; Olen Ray Northern of Alaska, Jimmy Leroy Northern of Arizona and Clyde Pierce of Oklahoma and one daughter; Crystal Formica of Arizona, one brother, Leroy Lawson of Mounds, Oklahoma. She is also survived by grandchildren; Michele and Olen Northern, Jr., Diana Johnson, David Northern, Annette Olsen, Dennis Northern, Jeanee Houser, Robert Pierce, David Pierce, Arthur Northern, Marcy, Cindy and Jimmy Northern, 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her son Wayne and two grandsons, Woody and Kenny. The family would like to say a special Thank you to Faith Hospice for all the care they have given to Mollie. Pallbearers will be: Clyde Pierce, Robert Pierce, Randy “Joe” Houser, David Pierce, Jim Northern and Jimmy Leroy Northern. Honorary Bearers will be: Olen Ray Northern, Sr. and Pete Formica. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel, 1001 North Milt Phillips Ave. Seminole, Oklahoma 74868 with Rev. Roy Robertson and Steve Mayhan. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
