Minnie Lee (Bayne) Kinder

Minnie Lee (Bayne) Kinder, age 91 and a life-long resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully from this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Assembly of God Church located at 205 W. 3rd in Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Steve Lowrance will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Dakota Miller, Dylan Miller, Sean Weaver, Jeremy Weaver, Stephen Kuestersteffen, Kyler Sharp, Kaden Sharp, and Max Noel. Minnie was born June 14, 1927 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Andrew Lee Bayne and Nancy Dianna (Jennings) Bayne.  She married Harold Lee Kinder on December 24, 1948 in Konawa.  Minnie was a waitress, and a home healthcare provider.  She was a member of the Konawa Assembly of God Church.  Minnie loved the Lord and her family and also her church family very much.  When her health was better, she enjoyed shopping and eating out. She is survived by one daughter, Diana Kinder of the home; and two nieces and one nephew that she and Harold raised as their own, Ivoleta Mitchusson and husband, Ron of Konawa, Kim Weaver and husband, Roger of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Ray Roskopf of Ada, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Crystal Miller, Sean Weaver, Niki Weaver, Lori Sharp, Jeremy Weaver, and Stephen Kuestersteffen; eight great grandchildren, Dakota Miller, Dylan Miller, Max Noel, Harper Weaver, Kyler Sharp, Kaden Sharp, Connor Weaver, and Cason Weaver; four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Nancy Bayne; her husband, Harold Lee Kinder on August 12, 2011; one son, Vernon Ray Kinder on January 25, 2014; and two sisters, Agnes and Vernie.
