Minnie Hendricks-Westmoreland

Minnie Oneta Hendricks- Westmoreland Longtime Seminole resident Minnie Hendricks –Westmoreland passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in Seminole at the age of 85. She was born on August 18, 1924 to Floyd and Molly (Turner) Jones in Arkansas. She retired from Big Yank where she worked for 33 years as a supervisor. She loved to travel, be with her family, gardening, working in the yard, and sewing until her eyesight failed. She married Loyd Westmoreland in June of 1996, he survives her of the home, she also leaves to cherish her memories her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Pat Hendricks of Shawnee and two daughters and a son-in-law; Wanda Hendricks and Judy and Donnie Carter both of Seminole, four brothers, Jerry Hall of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Gary Hall of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Charles Jones and Thomas Jones both of Texas, two sisters, Lorene Thornton and Della Hicks both of Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  She is also survived by five grandchildren; Greg Carter, Sonya Gammell, Chris Hendricks, Stacy Dudgeon and Carrie Min and nine great grandchildren. She was also very fond of all of Loyd’s Children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Molly Jones, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Stewart.  Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole, Oklahoma.
