Milton Jackson, age 79 years, 7 months and 22 days, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Gene Reeves will officiate. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Byng, Oklahoma. Pallbearers are Roger Burns, Jody Ardrey, Archie Russ, Wayne Cobb, Bryant Redwine, and Ted Burns.rnrnMilton was born on December 29, 1928, in Powell, Oklahoma, to Clyde Jackson and Eolian (Young) Jackson. He served during the Korean War as a member of the 45th Infantry Division of the Army National Guard. He married Mary Sue Austin on March 22, 1963, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was a rancher who loved his grandchildren. He also loved his cattle and his land, and he loved to work.rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Jackson of the home; one son, Clay Milton and wife Sarah of Stillwater, OK; one daughter, Angela Sue (Jackson) Delk and husband, Michael of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Letha Mae Meyer of Bethany, OK; three grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, and Harrison Jackson; three step-grandchildren, Ben, Bethany and Angie Delk.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Eolian Jackson; three brothers, Harty Lee, Bill, and Jack Jackson; three sisters, Helen Silva, Clara Keyes, and Pat Liticker; and two infant sisters, Virginia Ruth and Baby Jackson.
