Mildred Lucille (Brown) Yancey, 82 year-old longtime Seminole County resident passed from this life Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Seminole Estates Care Center. She was born November 30, 1925 in Maud, Oklahoma to parents E.L. Brown and Maudie Mae (Mcraw).rnrnMildred married Vernon Elwood Yancey on October 20, 1945 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Seminole First Free Will Baptist Church.rnrnSurvivors include her husband of almost 63 years, Vernon Yancey of Seminole, Oklahoma; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Bill Eads of Hungry Horse, Montana, Vickie Yancey of Seminole, Oklahoma and Anna and Jim Choate of Seminole, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, one grandchild and one great grandchild.rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev.
