Mildred L. (Hamrick) Richardson, longtime Konawa area resident, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008, at Ada Retirement Center at the age of 89.rnrnShe was born August 28, 1918 in Whitesboro, Texas to Clarence & Vida (Tucker) Hamrick.rnrnMildred married James Lloyd Richardson on September 18, 1935 in Tishomingo, OK. rnThey moved to Konawa in 1941.rnrnMrs. Richardson was a loving homemaker and a longtime member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Byng. rnrnShe is survived by one son, James Richardson & his wife Sherry of Ada; rnrnone daughter, Betty Jane Martin & her husband Arlis of Byng; rnrngrandchildren, Eric Martin & his wife Tracy of Ada, Evan Martin & his fiancee' Angela Lee of Byng, Jessica Vines & Emily Vines, both of Ada and tworngreat-grandchildren, Dylan Gray & Bree-ann Martin.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Lloyd Richardson on February 24, 1984 and four brothers, Myrlee, Robert, Billy Joe & Wendell Hamrick.rnrnFuneral services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa with Rev.
