Longtime Seminole resident Mildred Post departed this life September 18, 2007 at Seminole Estates Nursing Center at the age of 86.rnrnMildred was born on May 10, 1921 in Hugo, Oklahoma to W.A. ?Nick? Nichols and Anna Smith Nichols.rnrnOn April 9, 1941 in Shawnee, Oklahoma she became the wife of James Ray Post II. Three sons were born of this union. rnrnShe is survived by sons, James Ray Post, III and his wife Phyllis of Seminole, David Lee Post and his wife Sharon of Seminole, and William ?Nick? Nichols Post of Edmond. Grandchildren, Stacy Prewitt, James Ray Post, IV, John Colombo, Jerry Colombo, and Karen Colombo. Sister, Kate Warren of Camarillo, California, ten great grandchildren and beloved friend and pet Bo. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Juanita Cline. rnrnMildred graduated from Mountain View High School in 1939 and attended East Central University. She was a Bowlegs band parent. Attended both Trinity Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. She was a member of a bowling league for many years and was an avid OU fan. Mildred was also very proud of her Choctaw hertitage.rnrnShe retired January 1, 1981 from Seminole County after many years of service in the county attorney, treasurer and court clerk offices.rnrnShe had been a member of the Trinity Baptist Church for many years.rnrnPallbearers will be James Post IV, Jerry Colombo, Josh Colombo, Jonathan Colombo, Ed Staley and Steven Staley.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday with Rev.
