Dareesa Michelle Prince, better known as “Mikki” Prince, passed from this life on September 12, 2010. She died in her home after a long and courageous struggle with a debilitating illness. Mikki was born on January 7, 1974 and graduated from Seminole High School in 1992. She was a resident of Seminole her entire life. Mikki was a life-long horse enthusiast and competitive barrel racer. She spent a large portion of her life in the saddle or in a truck hauling her horses around to the next barrel race. Mikki had many wonderful friends and a lifetime of great experiences in the horse world. She found great comfort from those friends and memories through her long struggle with illness. Mikki was a beautiful force of nature, losing her will create a void in the life of those who knew her. Although it was tragically short, she loved her life and lived it with enthusiasm, exuberance, and joy. Her presence will be greatly missed by those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy her father, Leon and other beloved family members. She is survived by loving friends and extended family.
